Anastrozole is an anti-aromatase that many athletes use to prevent bloating and gynecomastia which appear as side effect with the use of testosterone and androgens. Anastrozole is produced in the form of tablets. It can be used instead of Nolvadex and Clomid. The dosage used by the athletes is approximately 25 mg to 1 mg every day or 5 mg to 1 mg every other day. They have good results with it. The FDA sanctioned uses are for the theraphy of breast cancer in post-menopausal women with cancer progression following tamoxifen treatment. If you have hypersensitivity to Anastrozole you should consult with your medic, because it is the reason not to administrate it. Such side effects as dizziness, diarrhea, shortness of breath, headache, weakness, hat flashes, cough, skin rash, dry mouth, sweating, bone pain and abdominal pain can appear. Some rarely occurred side effects are vaginal hemorrhage, weight increase, fatigue, chills, fever, breast ache, itching. In the case of intoxication you should get in touch with your poison control centre.
Anastrozole is the preferential aromatase suppressor. This medicament is properly used when taking big amounts of aromatizing steroids, оr when a person is disposed to gynecomastia and using small amounts of such steroids. Anastrozole doesn't possess the side effects of aminoglutethimide (Cytadren) and it can reach a sufficient level of estrogen blockade, even more than Cytadren. Anastrozole helps to minimize the level of estrogen and for this you should hand over analyses of your blood and oral fluid after the first week of administration to determine the necessary dosage. As an aromatase suppressor Arimidex's mechanism of action-blocking transformation of aromatizable steroids to estrogen-is absolutely different to the mechanism of action of the following anti-estrogens - clomiphene (Clomid) or tamoxifen (Nolvadex) which freeze estrogen receptors in some tissues and activate them in other tissues. There is no a big necessity to use Clomid during a cycle, if you administrate Anastrozole but there can be positive effect of using it. When the doses of testosterone are moderate it is еnough to take 0,5 mg of Anastrozole per day. In some cases this dosage even can be too much.
